These few words are in gratitude for what i have learnt so far and for what i will learn in the weeks to come at your dog obedience training classes. After deciding to have a flatcoat retriver puppy i was absolutely determined to have a dog that i could take anywhere and would be properly trained, so i found out about POSH PETS.This class allows the puppies to mix & socialise and learn the basic commands, in a kind and reward based way.
Heather and Chic have a wealth of knowledge, to answer our questions, and give help, and through practice we realise the thrill of having a dog that reacts to us in a happy way and is a pleasure to be with.

I would just like to say how happy I am with this training club at only £5 per lesson with a highly qualified trainer its brilliant. My GSD Alfie loves going to the classes and is doing very well, it is a really friendly club and Heather has an obvious love of animals.

Have seen our Weimeraner progress in the training club. Looking forward to the training session at the beach...... Claire Harvey and "MILLIE" .TRANENT .
Have found the trainers to be helpful, competent and friendly.......Sonia and Ally Blackley with Briards .TRANENT.
If you are serious about training your dog , this is the club for you.GREAT TRAINERS, competent in their job. We had our GSD working well in a few lessons. Many thanks, John Wesley.
1 The training is excellent value for money. What can you get for a
fiver these days that will help you and your companion animal
learn together to live together.
2 The one thing that is important is approachability and in this
respect Heather and Chic always have time and indeed encourage
questions. A good and knowledgeable owner leads to a good and
obedient dog.
3 The results are coming without doubt but it would be foolish to
think after 1 or 2 lessons the dog will be trained. The trainers are
dog people
not miracle workers. So make sure you give your dog a chance to
improve- or else.
4 Because all the dog owners are learners there is a great willingness
to share and learn from each other for the sake of our dogs.

Enjoy coming to the class, and have seen good progress with my German Shepherd "Sabre"...... C. Dow PRESTONPANS
As someone who has owned and worked with animals most of her life, Heather has a natural affinity and genuine affection for the animals in her charge and she is a great source of advice and expertise for their owners.........

I am delighted with this Training Club for Dogs in Tranent. There are a number of Staffordshire Bull Terriers in the Club, which is excellent. They are a lovely breed and need socialising with other dogs, and what better than to mix with other dogs during training. They are a much maligned breed, which is so sad since they love people, and children in particular.
Heather has had a Staffie herself, and it lived with her family to a good old age. She understands the breed.

The puppy training classes are really well run and have been a great way to get my puppy used to the correct commands. There is lots of useful advice and practising in a fun and friendly enviroment and a great way to socialise with other puppies. Thanks to Heather and her team!Mrs J Fenwick and "Geordie" .HADDINGTON.
Just a little note to thank you and your club members for making Tracy and i so welcome, when we came to visit the classes. On behalf of the rescue, i would like to say a huge thank you for the donation you gave us.It is very much appreciated.Keep up the good work. Hi Heather,
I find the training very good value for money. I once went to another local dog training class and was very dissappointed after having to pay my annual fee up front and then finding after about the 3rd week that I thought the class was hopeless and very poorly run. It was almost impossible to hear what the trainers were saying over the chaos of everything else! I have gone to a number of training clubs over the years and can honestly say that this is the best value for money and also best run training club I have ever been to.
I find the trainers Heather and Chic very approachable and give excellent advice and the club is also very informative.
I don't go to class now, but when I did, I found a big difference in my dog. My dog has a mind of her own and is a little menace but it was a great help in class when the trainers noticed her `talking back' and helped me deal with it. My dog is quite unsociable with other dogs and this club and the excellent trainers really helped her although I find her slipping back into her old ways so wouldn't hesitate in going back to the club for help and would also very much consider the individual lessons to help me/her beforehand.
The club is very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. I find it difficult to mix but found it a very sociable club.
